The Robert B. Balter Company has experience with all types of Transportation projects.  Balter’s diverse experience with Transportation projects include bridges, roadways, and rail.  Among our experience, Balter was the lead Geotechnical Engineer on portions of the Baltimore Light Rail and Baltimore Metro Subway systems.  We were nationally recognized for recommending and implementing new methods of tunneling to construct the Baltimore Metro.  Our portfolio includes transportation work along a wide range of roadways from local roads and bridges to interstates.
