STATE AND MUNICIPAL PROJECTS OVERVIEW

Our firm has been an integral partner in the capital improvements of local municipalities in Maryland and environs.  Balter has maintained continuous multi-year materials testing and geotechnical services contracts to numerous City and County level municipalities.  We are particularly proud of our 10-year long relationship with Montgomery County, Maryland, for whom we have provided expertise on over 1 billion dollars worth of capital improvements.  We have developed our special inspection certifications and laboratory accreditations to meet the various municipal requirements.  Notable municipal projects include Montgomery County’s Multi-Agency Service Park (MASP) and the Equipment Maintenance and Transportation Operations Center (EMTOC).
