FEDERAL PROJECTS OVERVIEW

The Robert B. Balter Company has provided geotechnical services in the Federal market for decades. In addition to holding many long-term geotechnical contracts covering the eastern United States, Balter has had the opportunities to provide our geotechnical services on many other federal agency contracts, including NAVFAC, Army Corps of Engineers, FAA, Veterans Affairs, and Federal Highways.  Our services have been used on projects including Dams, Cemeteries, Government and Military Research Facilities, highways, and airports.  Our highly qualified AASHTO-accredited and Corps of Engineers-validated laboratory has established Balter as one of the most experienced geotechnical firms in the Country.
