The Robert B. Balter Company offers a full range of drilling services for a variety of geotechnical and environmental projects. The company owns a fleet of (eight) truck, tracked, all-terrain, and portable drilling rigs, with automatic SPT hammers, and equipment to provide all types of sampling and testing. Our personnel are familiar with the proper field protocols outlined by ASTM, AASHTO, and USEPA, as well as various local, state, and federal specifications and guidelines. The Company and its' drilling staff are licensed in all applicable jursidictions throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Our drillers have an average of 24 years of experience. Drilling crew skills are maintained with mandatory in-house training, outside continuing education, and all required safety programs. The Department Manager and senior staff are Certified Master Well Drillers (MWD).  Supervisors hold Temporary Traffic Control Manager certifications. Our Drilling personnel have also completed the 40-hour OSHA safety training and are experienced in working at hazardous waste sites. The firm has a complete on-site maintenance facility to maximize the reliability and productivity of our equipment.
